MEDINILLA MAGNIFICA PLANT

Medinilla Magnifica Plant, also known as a Rose Grape. An exotic looking plant with firm leathery leaves. It's pink, red or violet flowers hang down and produce several berries. It's in the family Melastomataceae, native to the Philippines. This plant is also commonly known as the Philippine orchid, and it is an epiphyte Care and Maintenence: -Requires bright light but not direct sunlight. -Thoroughly water compost during the growing season, allowing the top of the compost to dry 2cm down before repeating. During the rest period, water enough to stop the plant from drying out completely. Resume watering moderately in early-mid Spring when flower stalks become visible. -Apply a standard liquid fertiliser every two weeks once flower buds begin to open. Pot not included.
